Keeping Britain Moving

We help renew and improve the UK’s existing major road network. We work with major organisations such as Highways England, Transport Scotland and local authorities to deliver improvements to the road network. This includes road and junction enhancements, bypasses and the construction of new bridges, tunnels and roundabouts.

We are experienced at working with all stakeholders including clients, supply chain and road users to ensure we share learnings and promote innovation in a rapidly changing sector.

Our recent projects include improvements to the A69 in Northumberland, M271 in Southampton and A602 in Hertfordshire.

A63 Princes Quay bridge move

We have installed a new bridge that crosses the A63 and will enable key sites in Hull to be connected, shaping the future of the city.

The bridge, part of the Highways England project, was manufactured off-site, transported to its destination and jacked into its final position in a 24-hour procession. It weighs 150 tonnes and is 60 metres long.

The bridge will enable pedestrians and cyclists to cross over the busy dual carriageway, while the removal of a pelican crossing will improve traffic flow on the busy A63.
